The Employment Agency is involved as a leading partner for Bulgaria in the pan-European campaign of the European Labor Authority for raising awareness among cross-border seasonal workers "Rights for all seasons". The aim is to address the need to promote fair and safe working conditions for seasonal workers employed in EU countries. Led by the European Labor Authority, together with the European Commission, the European Platform tackling undeclared work, the EURES network, EU countries and the social partners, the campaign officially starts on 15 June 2021 and will run until October 2021. Publication in social media networks can be found using the hashtag #Rights4AllSeasons.

To implement the activities of the campaign in our country, National Employment Agency will partner mainly with the Executive Agency "General Labour Inspectorate" (EA GLI) and invitations for partnership will be sent to other institutions and organizations involved in the rights of seasonal workers.

In addition to information materials on labour rights abroad, the Employment Agency plans to participate in the campaign with a series of information events throughout the country. These meetings, to be held in September, will bring together seasonal jobseekers within the EU with experts from the Employment Agency, the General Labour Inspectorate and other interested institutions, who will answer concrete questions and provide detailed information about the labour and social security rights of employees in EU countries.

The Labour Inspectorate will join the campaign with joint inspections with the French Labour Inspectorate. The inspections are scheduled for September 2021. Within the their framework, control will be carried out of French employers who have hired Bulgarian seasonal workers, as well as of companies related to their sending from Bulgaria.

Thus, through the planned events and information materials, the campaign "Rights for all seasons" will place a kind of emphasis on the rights of seasonal workers, namely - fair working conditions when working in another EU country, with the same labour and social rights as local workers. However, given the temporary nature of their work, they can be more vulnerable to precarious working and living conditions, fraud and abuse. Therefore, the campaign will be a kind of platform for collecting and sharing successful practices for disseminating information and providing assistance and services available to seasonal workers and employers.
